About Us

Koke Mill Christian came about ten years ago when two churches merged together on the Westside of Springfield. One church had begun as a church plant only two years earlier and had been renting buildings around Springfield to meet in. The other was a church with land and their pastor had left to serve on the mission field. Pastor Stan Summers felt that by joining forces, it would be a very strategic kingdom move in an effort to reach people.

So for the past ten years that is what KMCC has achieved. Aside from three building programs and adding a very successful child care center for the community (Silverleaf Children's Academy), we have added yearly to our numbers and made disciples due to the decision to plant and then merge.
